Evangelicals dislike the idea of confessing their sins with the pastors why is that?

because their pastors don't help them or don't have the same authority that have the catholic priests? according to the new testament the apostles received the confessions of many people.. but evangelicals say it's better to confess your sins with God.. because God won't answer you and he wouldn't tell you do this or do that. he would be quiet right?
