Why can't Ali ever overtake Louis as 'The Champ"?

First of all, Louis conducted himself like a champ. He got screwed over by the I.R.S. and got bailed out by Max Schmeling. He NEVER made excuses for getting beat in the ring. He didn't get beat for 13 years! Joe Louis was Champion at the time when every man was tough! Ali was champion when everyone was looking for an excuse not to be tough. Threre lies the difference....
