Why is the NFL trying to fix the season by trying to make new Orleans a sudden force to reckon with?

before katrina this team couldn't get a win to save their lives.now i'm supposed to believe that all of a sudden that they are a better team because of the katrina tragedy? what a crock of bull. the nfl is trying to get the sympathy factor going for the people of new orleans. if the saints win the super bowl this year you will know that it was fixed by the nfl just to give the people of new orleans that sappy happy ending.
