1 year old 8 months, picky eater help please?

He is 1 year old eight months. As soon as food hits his mouth he spits it out. He'll only take about two to four spoonfuls of soup or pasta etc. And like i think his pacifier is a problem. He doesn't like to live without it. Help please. His bad eating habits worry the family. The thing is he still drinks out of the bottle and he doesn't want zippy cups. Help please!!!!
