Should i break up with my 2-month boyfriend?

Well im going out with a bad boy type and i have been for about 2 months now but his mom is sending him to Colombia for 2 months! He is going because his mom thinks his older brother can get him to behave and because he is gonna visit his brother and his brother's family. Now here's the problem...everyone is telling me to break up with him. I don't really want to but part of me agrees with them. I really want your people's opinion because i don't know what to do...=(
