I need Nintendo Wii remote help. (NOT NEW)?

Ok so about a month ago I was playing my Wii and I think the battery went in the remote so I switched the batteries for semi good ones and I left it alone. Then a month after I was bored & I put my camera card in the slot but it didn't work for some reason maybe because it was a SD-HC card? I don't know, I clicked the red on to try to sync the card & nothing happened so I gave up. Then a few days ago I tried to play my Wii but my remotes didn't work neither one of them. I changed the batteries to new batteries & I even tried to recharge my remotes & still nothing..? What can I do to make them work I don't know what happened to them at all. Whenever I try to make them work I click the power on & the sync on & still nothing at all happens. Can anybody help me out here?
