Does the CW own my network tv?

The CW does not own your television set. It is a network that resulted from the merger of UPN and the WB. In cities that had stations for each of those former networks, it's usually the one with the better signal (i.e., lower channel number) that ended up being a CW affiliate.

Poll: Does lack of punctuation, grammatical errors turn you off?

I understand completely. I usually stray away from those questions! I hate wasting my time trying to figure out what they are asking, only to be annoyed by their question. The lack of grammar in that paragraph you used as an example gave me a headache. =P

If junk food was available back in the olden days how come obesity rates were low?

Kids actually went outside to play and got exercise, the restaurants weren't on every street corner and people actually cooked their meals and sat around the same table in the kitchen and not in the living room watching television. I clicked on the question and that pain in the *** sign in page came up. I looked around somemore and found out how to make an account here. The first question I answered was why the Canadiens are also called the Habs. I can't remember the first question I asked.

Read my short story please?

A short story needs to grip the reader right off. You dwell too much on the interior of the lodge and use way too many adjectives. We get the picture. The cabin's warm and he hates to leave it but he needs to. Something's pushing him out into the cold, something momentous, maybe terrifying, possibly dangerous but he needs to get out. Build up the tension early and don't telegraph the ending. The writing's fine but the content needs to be revised to give it some pep.
